My passion is minimal design and the smart approach; I love making UI design, and I believe that my superpower is to resolve problems. The challenges in my work motivate me and push my abilities beyond, and I spread this emotion with the people around me.
I started my career as a web developer, which helped me understand the Web and UI design in depth. My technical experience has also allowed me to build the capacity to execute an idea into a real product.
Creative solutions for websites focused on the specific problems on the businesses. I believe the designer's main responsibility is to resolve any kind of issue.
Web/Mobile apps with a complex structure of advertising, development, and maintenance.
Working directly with mobile development teams. I provide mockups, prototypes, and particular assets to make developer's lives easier :)
I have worked with specific branding guidelines; I have also created new ones from scratch.
I've often worked with marketing teams to create brand-based visuals for massive campaigns and landing pages for funnel implementations as well.
I've had the privilege of managing a team and closely monitoring each project's progress.
Clean-code websites without any CMS systems or predefined templates. It's a pleasure coding my own designs and viewing how my mockups come to live.
Expert skills with HTML, CSS, complex Less or Sass structures, and I'm also familiar with PHP and jQuery.
I started my career writing themes for Wordpress; however, I'm still using it for small to middle-sized projects.
As a front-end developer. I code, implement, and test interfaces before going to production.
I am used to handling shits like Git, MySql, Virtual Machines on a daily basis. All of these are every designer's nightmare, but I do it with professionalism and ease :)
Yes, even that! I code responsive mail templates for big marketing campaigns (millions of receivers). I also implement email templates to large CRM systems like Emarsys.
This isn't just a business for us; there is passion, loyalty, diligence, and professionalism in everything we do. We've been working together for many years; today, we continue to improve and move each other forward. We are well-experienced in creating mobile apps, mass-communicate systems, web apps, massive marketing campaigns (including funnels with dozens of landing pages, massive email, SMS and call campaigns), etc.
As a UI/UX Designer and front-end developer, my responsibility is to provide design solutions for new features in a custom CMS system that is used for managing dozens of charity websites. I am also responsible for writing the front-end code of these features for faster implementation from a back-end perspective.
A boutique design website for a company in the Cinematic industry. Artcreation Films filmed mostly wedding events with an exceptional level of professionalism. They work with high tech industry standards to provide premium quality to their customers. They don't just create videos, they tell stories!
The whole idea of the design was to focus on their beautiful cinematic trailers.
We also aimed for a premium and unique look and feel overall.
How to manage all featured videos, keeping the user experience the same on desktop and mobile devices?
How to keep the users interacting without leaving the website?
How to provide information about prices exclusively for Artcreation Films' clients? The company's CEO required secured access to their brochures with offers, limited to their customers only!
Design - I started with a beautiful fullscreen slider featuring videos carefully curated from the client. For a better user experience (with mobile-first designing in my mind), I used a movie-cover style image instead of an autoplay video for each slide. With this approach, I killed two birds with one stone; we had the same look and feel on mobile and desktop versions, plus a faster performance from the user perspective.
Development - I used Wordpress cms for this project because the client wanted to control its content. There were a couple of interesting features here:
Real-Time Calendar - A dynamic calendar connected to the client's Google Calendar, which shows the availability in real-time. This feature was required to help people plan their wedding easier. On the other hand, it was very convenient for Artcreation's team to sync their schedules.
Price-Calculator - A complex dynamic real-time web calculator. With this tool, the customers have the freedom to choose a package, additional services, wedding date, and to request a quote. The system collects all input data from the customer and sends it to Artcreation's team via email.
"Our clients are very impressed by the design of our new website. Your work contributed to our success; clients often ask me about the website, which means they keep our brand in mind."

А Boutique SPA Hotel in the heart of Rila Mountain, Bulgaria. The hotel offers mineral water, SPA, outdoor pools, fresh air, and traditional delicious Bulgarian food. It is a breathtaking place.
I had the freedom to use my creativity in every aspect of the project. However, I had to find the best way to represent their business.
In the hotel industry, people search for a beautiful place to spend a nice holiday. They want to see images of the area, prices, availability, room extras, and to be able to easily make a reservation. My goal was to make this information instantly accessible, preventing users from going to the next offer.
I had to immediately provide all the necessary information, which was essential for the users to see quickly. This is why I went with intuitive layout and clean design, focusing on the beautiful images we had.
As I mentioned before, In this niche, the clients (users) pass along the information very fast. I had to give them as many ways as possible to book a room, contact us, or locate the place quickly. My mission was Hotel Nikol to be one click away from the clients.
Development - I went a little further with this customed Wordpress theme. I developed it from scratch with my client's needs in mind.
With a custom theme developed specifically for your business, there aren't unnecessary features, a ton of scripts, useless styles, etc., slowing down the website speed and performance.
Here are some of the custom features I've created:
Room Slider - a custom slider that automatically gets and shows information like thumbnail, room extras, and a short description for every room.
Room Extras - I've added an option in the admin panel where the administrator can add/remove extras for each room via checkboxes. The marked extras appear in the room's page as small icons; for each extra, there is a tooltip with additional information showing up on hover.
Custom Price - I've added two inputs for the cost of each room; one for the holidays and one for the weekdays.
Dynamic Menus - all navigations can be controlled by the client through the website admin panel.
Easy Editing - as all WordPress themes, this theme offers content editing on all pages and posts through the WordPress text editor.
There are many rules and recommendations for good SEO, but in the real world, if you follow the essentials of SEO, you can achieve excellent performance in Google. Here are some of the essential elements for good optimization:
As a result, the website has a lot of organic traffic, and it actually performs well without any paid adverts.
Another client who put his trust in me, and I'm pleased with that. The website is highly visited; it brings many reservations and happy clients.
A project for an interior design company based in Bulgaria, working mostly with Germany. The client came to me with something like a website, but not exactly. They had been working with another developer for a couple of months, and something went wrong. Maybe there was a miscommunication between them. I don't know the details, but in the end, they had an unfinished website and no one to help them.
I share this project because we can't always work on fancy-schmancy projects with a cool design; often, we have to put our skills in working through complicated situations, in order to help someone's business. No one wants to work on legacy projects and fix someone else's mistakes, but that is the difference between a professional and average performance (approach).
I had to clarify the idea behind, simplify the user experience, as well as set all modules to work as expected. The trick part: The client provides furniture you can't buy! The idea is the users can choose furniture for their interior, but they can only create a quote.
To figure out what features were needed for the website in order to work.
To handle three different languages.
Make all modules work together.
The client provides furniture you can't buy!
I started by removing all eCommerce features like a wish list, profiles, login, etc. I left only the "Request a Quote" function, which simplified the user experience.
My focus was on process automation - emails, quotes, requests, etc.
All functionalities had to work in three different languages. There were a bunch of bugs that needed to be fixed. There were invalid links, not translated strings, run-down forms, differences between language versions, responsive design issues...
I haven't received feedback on the website's performance yet; the client is still working on the content before going live. They will add all product inventory in the next couple of months. I wish them more projects and happy clients!
A personal website for beautiful and talented musician, Simona Donova.
The main goal was to tell a story through her artistry.
The design - had to be classy and art-oriented, using mostly bright colors in the beige range. The client requested that we avoid high contrast colors between sections.
The website - Ms. Donova chose Wordpress CMS specifically, in order to manage the content by herself.
How to represent the most essential highlights of Simona's inspirational story and musical career?
How to create an artistic design and keep the UI clean and intuitive.
The color palettewas inspired by the beautiful dress from the photoshoot, provided by the client.
The fonts - For the headings, I've searched a handwritten font to add more unique and authentic style. I'm not a big fan of this kind of fonts, but Amatic SC fits perfectly for me. For body/paragraphs, I used the narrow font (Open Sans Condensed) due to the amount of text, especially in the biography section.
Accessibility - I used monochromatic colors. They have enough contrast to be accessible to people with visual impairment.
Nice touch - I've added a little parallax effect between some of the backgrounds, as well as very minimal animations on some elements to make the design more lively.
A personal website for a UI & UX designer and Front-end developer with almost 10 years of experience in the field.
To share my story.
To show my strengths, experience, process, and my work so far.
It was quite challenging to choose the most valuable experience to share on my page. Mainly because I have been in the business for almost 10 years... I've have seen a lot.
How to say everything for a time of one scroll through my page.
I wasn't able to expose a big part of my work on my personal page as it was subject to a nondisclosure agreement.
About my work - I decided to focus on my experience and my individual projects as an owner of a design agency.
Story - I highlighted my superpowers, passion, and experience.
Design - I've made the design with an asymmetric layout and focus on the essential information about my work.
No contact form - This is my first website without a contact form. I added all social channels and email instead of a contact form, as I realized I never used it on other websites.
Nice touch - Small parallax effects on the visuals with a couple of sliders and tabs. These effects create a feeling of space and breathe.
